Charles is a Director with responsibility for the GRC Services practice and managing Sunera’s partnerships with GRC software vendors. He has over thirteen years of SAP implementation, upgrade, application control configuration, and security design experience, with significant management experience within “Big-4" and private sector organizations. In addition to his SAP background, Charles has extensive knowledge of segregation of duties (SOD) and continuous controls monitoring (CCM) solutions such as BizRights, SAP GRC, and Control Software International (CSI).
Most recently, Charles has focused on assisting organizations with deploying 3rd party CCM applications and developing in house CCM solutions as well as creating Sunera’s GRC implementation methodologies and accelerators used to streamline GRC projects. Prior to Sunera, Charles’ responsibility included delivering risk-based SAP services for the Southeast region of KPMG’s Information Risk Management practice. While at KPMG, he successfully led multiple SAP security and SOD remediation projects, application controls assessments and post implementation reviews as well as assisted with the development of an SOD tool that was used throughout the Southeast region. Charles is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an Approva Certified Professional (ACP) and holds a Masters in Accountancy from Rider University.
