Corey is a Director with responsibility for the Atlanta, Georgia office and SAP Security Services. He has over 12 years of accounting, information technology auditing, and system implementation work experience, having worked at the senior management level with “Big-4"and public organizations. Corey has extensive knowledge of segregation of duties and continuous monitoring tools within the SAP environment.
Prior to Sunera, Corey was responsible for directing Intel’s IT Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance initiatives which included designing and overseeing all control and security testing within the organization’s SAP environment. While at Intel, Corey leveraged his SAP security expertise by leading a global SAP segregation of duties remediation project and managing the deployment of a GRC solution. Prior to that, Corey managed the SAP application controls integration and security services within KPMG’s North Florida Information Risk Management practice. There he successfully led a team of SAP risk and controls professional who focused on performing application control reviews, system stabilizations, quality assurance assessments and SOX assistance projects for SAP clientele. He also managed the information technology audit procedures for multiple SAP Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining KPMG, Corey leveraged his accounting backing to lead a “big bang” SAP implementation for a large sales and distribution organization. His responsibilities included configuring the financial suite of applications, developing security roles/system profiles, and managing all cutover/conversion activities.
