Sample Process Controls Implementation Project
Overview
We were engaged by a leading meter manufacturer Company to develop custom SAP Queries in SAP ECC to monitor controls not included in the standard SAP rule content. In addition, we created report variants to filter data and dynamically select time frames based on automated control testing frequency requirements for SAP ECC programs used to monitor automated Process Controls. Furthermore, we created automated controls to monitor controls required for Sarbanes Oxley compliance and trained control owners how to perform monitoring activities.
Outcome
The Company now enjoys the efficiencies associated with being able to monitor compliance controls across the organization. This method of monitor has not only increased efficiencies associated within evaluating the effectiveness of manual controls but also increased the organization’s ability to gather the required information to support the control procedures.
