Sample SAP GRC Upgrade and Legacy System Integration Project
Overview
We were engaged by a global apparel company to upgrade the Access Controls suite and integrate the solution across 5 legacy applications. In addition, we developed SOD and Critical Action rules for all 5 legacy applications, configured Super User Privilege Management for SAP, and configured Compliant User Provisioning workflows for SAP and 5 legacy applications.
Outcome
The Company now enjoys an integrated compliance solution across multiple applications providing a centralized monitoring solution of access privilege assignments. The Company also enjoys the benefits of having a provisioning solution which evaluates compliance requirements prior to the assignment of security privileges.
Sample GRC System Conversion Project
Overview
We were engaged by a global beverage company to assist with the conversion from the Approva BizRights' Authorization Insights product to the SAP GRC Risk Analysis and Remediation product. Our objectives also included developing a rule conversion database to convert from the BizRights rule format to the SAP GRC rule format to facilitate the loading the converted rules to SAP GRC. In addition, we developed a reporting database to reconcile the violation data from BizRights to the SAP GRC violation data.
Outcome
The Company now enjoys a single GRC solution to manage compliance initiatives including segregation of duties. The Company also enjoys knowing that the conversion did not impact the legacy attributes that were configured in the rules and monitored as part of internal processes.
